Ultimate Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to bring the joy, teamwork, and spirit of ultimate frisbee to K–12 classrooms across the United States.

In 2026, Paige Carver, Anthony Grillo and Steve Hall came together with a plan to build a scalable and sustainable nonprofit business that teaches ultimate in the classrooms across the country.
This low-cost, no barriers sport was something everyone could and should learn. The self-officiated nature of club ultimate meant no one was benched, no referee was needed, and every student had a voice on the field.
Paige built the curriculum, Anthony created the first pilot in Charlotte, and Steve laid out the business plan for the first scalable and sustainable program for teaching ultimate in the classroom. Our vision is a national network of passionate teachers and excited kids.
Our mission is simple: empower and equip every K–12 educator in America to teach ultimate frisbee. Everything we do flows from four core values.
We believe physical education should be fun. Ultimate frisbee is one of the few sports where beginners and experienced players can share the field and have fun together.
Youth ultimate is self-officiated. Players call their own fouls. We teach this spirit — honesty, respect, and fair play — as a life skill, not just a rule.
Every student deserves access to great PE. We support all schools, all communities, and every type of student.
Teachers are the key. We invest deeply in educator training because a confident, well-equipped teacher can change the trajectory of thousands of students' lives.
Whether you're a teacher ready to sign up, a school looking for equipment, or an organization that wants to support our work — there's a place for you here.
